EdgeRouter 10X Performance. Hi all, been looking everywhere, but cannot find the answer, I am hoping someone here has tested this. Would the EdgeRouter 10X perform gigabit internet when fully loaded with 10 devices across 8 VLANs with some inter VLAN routing. If I go this route, it would be able 4 aps, 4 desktops, and 30-40 wireless clients ...Ubiquiti is for people that have a lot of money to throw and looking for easier application, but ultimately they are getting locked into their eco-system, just like Apple does. I am not saying they are not good but there are cheaper alternatives. Not ...So the switch would be connected with 2.5gbe to the ISP's hub and my 2 computers. It would be connected to my USG wan port at 1gbe. Both computers also have 1gbe network interfaces which I'd use to connect a switch "behind" the USG. My ISP's hub would be forced into modem mode so it wouldn't try to do DHCP and its WiFi is disabled.I don't have UI Care but I guess if even if I have UI Care I still have to wait RMA to be reviewed before I can have wifi capacity restored. Support from ubiquiti is pretty minimal. They don’t have a conventional support model you pay out the nose for. .
